About Moxham
Moxham is located in southern Johnstown, Cambria County, Pennsylvania and lies on the east side of Stoney Creek which defines the northern, southern and western edges of the neighborhood. The former iron and steel mill lies to the west between the creek and the neighborhood; to the east are steep wooded ridges.
The neighborhood includes over 300 structures, laid out in a street grid of approximately 20 square blocks, in a combination of single & double dwellings, former carriage/horse barns, garages, commercial buildings, many churches and a school. Some buildings pre-date the 1889 Johnstown Flood, but most reflect post-flood development associated with the founding and growth of the rolling mill from 1890–1930s. Learn More Here
